QCF Presentation to the people we support

We held our first presentation for the people we support who have achieved qualifications through our City & Guilds Centre.  The event was introduced by Morwenna Jones (Staff Development Officer) and the presentations were made by Mandy Tilston-Viney (Regional Director for North Wales).

Both Chris Davies and Geraint Eardley achieved a QCF Award in Personal Progress. This was achieved through the hard work they did at the Bangor office such as general administration tasks and through their participation at the north's National Representatives Group (NRG).Chris Davies and Geraint Eardley

Both Chris and Geraint worked hard and produced an excellent portfolio of evidence. This was achieved with the support of the Staff & Quality Development Department, Management, all the Administrators as well as the support teams.

Daniel Snape achieved a Level 2 QCF Award in Emergency First Aid at Work. This is the same qualification that all Cartrefi staff have to complete during their induction. He is looking to use Daniel Snape receiving QCFhis new qualifications by volunteering for organisations such as St John's Ambulance. Daniel has also asked if he can come on further training in the office to gain more qualifications.

The celebration was a great success with the people we support, family and staff members in attendance.  At the request of Chris a lovely chocolate cake was on hand. Everyone enjoyed the day andMandy, Morwenna and David expressed hope that this was the first of many presentations to come. A massive well done to everyone involved.
